Super size horizontal wrapping machine with film draw back device

This machine is part of a very large project. We are still working through the details and final pricing. If we do proceed with the investment, it will be about 1 year for manufacturing of the other machinery.

The panels will be moved into the wrapper via a powered roller conveyor similar to the one in your video. The machine is very large and we also need to understand how it can be shipped to Australia.

I am concerned with a circle (ring) design for the wrapper. Because we need it 3.5m wide the plastic roll will be 1.5m way from the surface of the panel when it is at the 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock positions.  This means there will be 1.5m of plastic extended from the roll. I am worried that the plastic will not be tight when it is wrapped around the panel. Especially when we wrap a more narrow panel like 2.4m wide.

You can see the problem a little in the video you sent me. The plastic when the roll moves from the 12 o’clock position to the 3 o’clock position you can see it lose.

What do you think about this. Do you engineers think it will work and we will get a tight wrap? We need it tight protect the gypsum board on the panels from rain during construction of the building.

The wrapper in the video looks about 2m diameter. Have you built a 3.5m diameter machine before? Please send me some photos

I think you must have contacted with many manufacturers as you are very familiar with the machine.

The machine is a very big machine, we have two ways to do the shipping. 1. we need to tear down the ring and put it with other parts into one 40ft.    2.We can keep the machine intact and put it into a flat rack container.

There will be extended film at 6 o’clock and 12 o’clock position, but we can add the material draw back device to the film spool, this device can draw back the surplus film and make the package tight. I made two pictures to explain:

In our video, that machine doesn’t have this device, so the package is loose.

But, luckily we just got an order from an American customer, the wrapping machine is the same size to your requirement and they ordered for the film draw back device. Our factory has already started the project this month, we will see how is the machine when it’s finished. You also could visit our factory before the shipment.
